Never Give Up, Never Surrender with Janelle Gayy

There an old saying "excuses are nails to build a wall of failure", however, that's not the case for Janelle Gayy. I had the pleasure of interviewing Ms. Gayy a single working mother and student about her journey towards betterment and what motivates and inspires her.

My Two Cents: "The secret of getting ahead is getting started" Mark Twain.

“Sports” is recognized worldwide for its many benefits, such as, instilling discipline in individuals and developing teamwork.  Kyle “Biggie” Small knows the importance of sports and recognizes that it can play a key role in imparting positive values in youths in our society.  To this end, he has taken up the mantel of using football to transform youths.
Small has been a football coach for more than eight (8) years.  He coaches the National Under Sixteen (16) Boys team, Club San’do Under Sixteen (16) team and the Pleasantville Secondary School team.  Positive values of discipline, confidence and teamwork are imparted in coach Small’s charges.  It also develops pride in them.  These positive values transcend to other areas of each player’s life, such as, school/ work.

Yes, sports has many benefits and is fun but it also provide many avenues for careers/ business, such as, professional athletes, coaches, physiotherapists and club owners. Through his coaching Mr. Small is providing youths with hope of a better life and should be saluted for his efforts.

Groups both formal and informal are great ways to develop your natural leadership qualities.
